Shri Vasudevan Kesavalu

Shri Vasudevan Kesavalu has mastered the art of Nattuvangam to perfection in the 20 years that he has been Padmabhushan Alarmelvalli’s student. She honored him with the title Layavidyadara in 2013.

He is a highly talented percussionist and a disciple of Sangeetha Kalanidhi Dr. Umayalpuram K. Sivaraman

Vasu Sir, was awarded Vadyakalaimani title by the Tamil Nadu Government Music College, Chennai. He has performed in many theaters and festivals in India and Abroad.
