Poorvi Satya is a student at the Sri Krupa Dance Foundation.
She has been learning under Guru Smt. Vishal Ramani ever since she was 5 ½, and hopes to continue dancing for the rest of her life.
She has been in numerous performances and productions, but the most important performance for her as a dancer, has been her Arangetram. Poorvi’s Arangetram (solo dance debut) took place on July 31st, 2010, and has been a great achievement for her, because after training for the performance for over a year, she was finally able to go on stage and show the audience what she had accomplished.
Poorvi has many hobbies including swimming and karate, but dance is her favorite. She hopes to learn many different types of dances from all around the world, but for now she would like to focus on Bharathanatyam!
