Shri Karthik Ramanathan made his entry past 20 years and Today, he is one of the leading artist playing for all top dancers. He has a Unique style of playing for both vocal and dance performance.Also he trained in other south Indian percussion instruments. He has been awarded the title of “YUVA KALA BHARATHI” from Bharath kalachar 2007-2008, “MAYOORA MUZHAVISAI ELAVAL” from Mayoora natiyanjali trust 2014 and “LAYA SWAROOBHA MAAMANI” from Sri Thiyagarajar Swamy aaraadhanai narpani sabha. Since 2013 He is working as a visiting professor at Annamalai university Toronto
